Bathroom wisdom

The autumn comes any time now. The leaves are yellow and red, the nose is running sometimes and the cough is not nice, so I write some interesting wisdoms around the house to keep the mood up. Tomorrow is Friday and the last mountain getaway for this "summer" is waiting.

This time I finished half marathon in less time that the last time! Yay!

Early mornings. Again

The vacation is over. Now I wake up early again and have breakfast with my super smoothie and a yogi tea with a wisdom written on the label. Today is "You are unlimited". Nice to wake up to a phrase like that. It makes my day.

The first finished cross stitch

I finished my first cross stitched from this DIY. This goes as a present back to my parents home. I am back to the blog after a good time with my parents and after running half marathon in Oslo. More news and pictures coming soon!

Grandparents are here!!!

Greta is enjoying the company of her grandparents! So nice to see her happy. She was a bit confused in the beginning, but then she got that the people she was talkig on skype for the last 1.5 years are real!!! And here! Nice.

And I take a one week braek from the blog: a cabin tour and the half marathon are waiting! Will be back after that!

We talk about them every day and Greta is looking forward to see tham after one and a half years. Only a couple of days left.
 
 
Today Greta asked me if she could have earrings. Well, I remembered that I had those that do not requie a hole, kind of clips. Here is Greta for the first time with "earrings"
 

The sleep book

I am making the sleep book for Greta. It is a book where all her bedtime routine is described in pictures, as well as there are pictures of other kids doing the same: bathing, reading bedtime stories, brushing their teeth and so on...
I made just three pages so far, but there are still many steps of the bedtime routine to make...
Greta liked it so far. It is supposed to help her with her bedtime routine and get tuned to sleep.

We finished the hammock now and it was such a nice feeling to try it. And so easy to make. Just a big bed lining, two pieces of wood and a lot of rope.

Textile garden

Oh, they smell so nice. Bamboo and coconut shell buttons. Recommend!

The pretty dress day!

Today they were taking pictures in the kindergarten, so Greta was very pretty in her specian occasion dress.

And she got a present from our friends that just came from Sweden. Lots of colourful Villervalla clothing :-)

An infinite project

Do you remember my crazy project I started around half a year ago? Well, I am still there. 4 squares are finished (well, almost 5). Still many to knit...

A big flower on the little head

Greta liked those crocheted flowers I made some time ago, so today I made her a hair pin with one of those. Pretty!

Saturdays projects

Project number one: paint the wooden picture frame orange. Done
Project number two: fit all the tea received from iHerb into the tea-storage boxes. Done

Project number three: no matter that the summer is gone, I am making a hammock. Fabric done, wood painted, rope bought.... Not done yet.

Project number four: Contemplate the garden, pick one apple, eat it. Check on the flowers that did not grow because I planted them too late. Done

Project number five: Colorful children crafts on a gray rainy day! Done!
