Running in Oslo

Yesterday we had a great day with our friends in Oslo, where kids enjoyed themselves and participated in the kids race, while I did 10k in 50.14 as planned

I became a mother 3 years ago! To this little beautiful happy girl. Thanks everybody for all the warm wishes. Greta had a wonderful day thanks to you.

Yay! Another present for Greta

You know, I could not give her a naked doll. So here is a dress for Milton. Looking forward for Thursday! Can´t wait to see how she likes it.

I am so proud of myself

Actually I do not remember the last time I was so proud :-) I was knitting this without knowing what I will end up having. I definitely did not expect this! So beautiful. Do you like it? This is lazy Katy with Holst Garn wool. Love it. I think I will were it everywhere! And will take it to the wedding in Spain.

The yarn positive!

Today I was inspecting my yarn boxes, and what o you think happened when Santiago and Greta came upstares. This looks like a yarn-therapy to me. They look so cozy.
Oh, yes. the result of my inspection is the conncusion that I have way to much yarn and I decided that I am not allowed to buy any more (unless needed in already started project) before I finish everything! Or... unless somebody wants to make me a yarn-present.

Now is my turn

Greta asked for a white cooked egg to decorate, good we have a food markers. What do you think about her outfit today, when it snows outside? It is just that she plays "the beach", with a bucket she puts the imaginary sand and builds imaginary sandcastles. But back to the egg: here it is!

The Nora dress for Greta

You know for nice it is to have Easter days off! It is so nice that I was thinking to sew a shirt for me (I love shirts), because Santiago could take care of Greta. But instead, since I did not have any pattern for the shirt, I made another dress for Greta. This time I followed the instructions from this blog (many good ideas there, by the way). And I am very happy with the result. And Greta, you guess! :-) She liked it so much that she did not let me to sew the buttons and to finish the bottom hem of the dress. So I will finish when she is in bed. As always, it is a bit bigger, but it is ok, so it lasts longer.
