I want a white dress, mommy

This was one of the first things Greta said to me this morning. So we had to sew one :-) A very simple one with Ikea fabric for the skirt, and a stretch ribb fabric for the top. Look, now she also loves the knitted doll :-)

We finally hung the world map on the wall! Fun to learn the new things there.

A tired girl and the garden

Greta managed to fall asleep today during our walk in the forest.

How sweet she is.

And meet my garden! Santiago made the wooden box for me, and now I have my squash and cucumbers there. Yay! Good to have it done before the vacation.

I can not guarantee that I will write too much the next weeks, too many things to do before the trip, and then the trip itself....

We are back home

After yet another long weekend (this time close to Sweden, right on the border), we are home again. I started doing orienteering just like last year, so from time to time I enjoy a good view from some mountain top (nice to have a lot of light even so late in the evening).

The house is a desaster because we almost never are at home.

But today Greta and I had a nice evening. She saw me reading some embroidery blogs and asked me to make this one. So we made it (kind of together :-))

And now I am smelling the wonderful smwll of the chocolate and pear dessert and looking forward when Santiago gets down here to indulge it with vanilla ice cream. And read my new book about raising kids.

And Santiago bought himself a new bike, and I bought 2 pair of running shoes from Roadrunnersports. Looking forward to get them. Mizuno Wave Nirvana 8 for road running and Mizuno Ascend 7 for the forest!

The next day the weather was still fine, and we would have bathed in this wonderful place if it was not because of the strong wind.

By the evening of the second day the weather got better than in the morning, and we spent some time in the park feeding animals and riding the mary-go-round.













And Greta finisged the day playing a bit in the pool.
