First advent

Congratulations with the first sunday of advent. We had a nice day in the Christmas fair here in town. We did lots of things like riding the horse, making the birdhouse and listening to the Christmas music. Also some nice homemade jam and the torch walk. I just needed some fresh air, since I have been sick so long.

Advent candles

Tomorrow is the first advent Sunday, it came almost by surprise. So we had to make the advent candles with what we had at home. Turned out nice, I think.

Starting with Christmas decoration

Greta asked me today when are we going to decorate for Christmas. I tols her we could start as soon as she puts away her toys that were all around the floor. In 5 minutes Greta finished and we started decorating.
1. Greta assembles the nativity scene.
2. Plays the cat in the box. Check out the claws!!!
3. The compromise was achieved when we decided that I put the glass decorations on the tree while she puts on the wooden hearts.
4. Some evenint time with dad.
5. Check out the Christmas tree, on 25th of November :-))))
6. This is the part of the tree decorated by Greta.
7. This probably has nothing to do with Christmas, but I had this photo frame from almost one year ago and did not find an appropriate picture for it until today.
8. A family picture goes there.

250 g flour
2 ts baling powder
lots of blackcurrant

vanilla cream

Mix all together (except vanilla cream). Place a spoonful of dough to a muffin tin, a bit of vanilla crean and more dough. Cook at 225 C for 12 minutes.
I also made a blackcurrant sauce and served together vich ice cream.
Enjoy!!!

Abalone

I finally finished the abalone for me. With this great Madeline Tosh yarn. Not I washed it and I hope the stitches will look nicer after it is dry. Looking forward to wear it.
