Boring blanket

You can not have too many blankets. Especially, with such a soft yarn as Holst supersoft. There are different variations of this blanket, you can either knit it vertically or in diagonal. Diagonal is a bit more fun, since there are a bit of increasing and decreasing here and there. Plus stripes also add something to look forward to in a middle of endless rows.

Today I realized how much I missed this: you wrap you baby good on your back, turn on some lovely music and head to the kitchen - to cook.

You make some cookies. This recipe works great.

Half an hour later you baby is still snuggled on your back and you can eat some of your cookies. :-)

And when he wakes up, he makes you even happier with his smiles.

Warm autumn days

Before today we had some nice and warm days, perfect for walking in the forest and enjoying the autumn colors. :-)

Wool-silk pants

Samuel got his first knitted pants today- They are very roomy so I hope they will last a while. A wool/silk yarn is very soft and warm :-)

Autumn

We hed to get away from home again, since our floor does not get dry while we are here. We spent the last five days at the cabin near the sea, the weathr was great, not a single drop of rain. Temperature-wise it was so different, there were days when we onle went out with a t-shirt, and others with the winter coats.
Samuel is now officially 1 month old. Congratulations!

I really enjoy watching them two together. :-)



This is one of the warm days - probably the last one this year.

Samuel loves to be wrapped in a sling. And allows us to go for some long walks. We both enjoy it.

When we came back home it was 35 C, so I really really hope they can put the new floor soon.
