A cozy evening

Greta and dad made another Christmas decoration, hanging now on the lamp. And I decorated a bottle of wine as a present :-)) Sofia the cat enjoys a mount of scrapbooking papers :-)

Our saturday

Greta and I decided to make an experiment today. I went running with Greta in the stroller and it went pretty ok. Quite difficult to run uphills though, but for a short run is ok. Later we went for a walk in the town and even later installed a bird cafe on our terrace:-))

We finished the hammock now and it was such a nice feeling to try it. And so easy to make. Just a big bed lining, two pieces of wood and a lot of rope.

A little boat

Santiago really enjoys making and playing little electrical toys with Greta. This time they made a boat with a solar battery and tried it outside in the sun. Fun!

Chocolate Saturday

I like to make chocolate cake with kefir, it is always so soft and spongee. Also, I finished one of the orienteering maps, yay!!!

I could not resist to take a picture of our cat sitting in front of the plush toy just in the same position :-)

Sunny Saturday

and also very relaxed. First, we found another orienteering checkpoint in the forest, a difficult one today. Then we were watching Wimbledon all day long today! I am happy about it. Anf to finish the day, Santiago was painting a little wooden cloet for Greta, and Greta was paintin even smaller wooden "treasure" chest.

Our cat just loves all the boxes (I bet all the cats do), and Greta loves to make fun of her.

One important thing: now we should be very careful. Greta learned to open the door (and I guess she just became taller)! And she went to the street all by herself . I am surprised and scared.

And for dessert: homemade forest fruit creamy icecream. Yumy!

The family of artists

Everybody in Santiago's family paints and draws very well. This is the painting his mother painted after her visit here last summer. I admit, we did not hang it on the wall yet, but we will as soon as we find the right frame. Santiago draws very well too, and I always tell him that, and I would like him to continue developing this ability. Maybe now with Greta he will draw more.
This is the picture and the painting. I just noticed for the first time that the cat on the picture is not ours but the neighbor's.


By the way, Greta speaks more and more. Today, while watching the mole for another time, when she saw the dog crying, she said in perfect Russian "собака плачет". And she uses correctly all different forms of endings that we use in Russian, like she says "мы сидим", "миша сидит", "мама, садись!" еtc.
The luggage is almost made, the skibox is no longer on the car, we are almost ready for our journey.

Winter? Again?

Today it was snowing and snowing, the whole day.


Greta and I are feeling better, and today we went out. Tomorrow is a normal kindergarten and work day. Here is ,e having to help Greta take the groceries to the kitchen (she was so eager to do it herself :-))
