30 minutes hat

While Samuel was napping, I knitted a tiny hat for him. just 20 grams, but quite appropriate for our warm winter.

Boring blanket

You can not have too many blankets. Especially, with such a soft yarn as Holst supersoft. There are different variations of this blanket, you can either knit it vertically or in diagonal. Diagonal is a bit more fun, since there are a bit of increasing and decreasing here and there. Plus stripes also add something to look forward to in a middle of endless rows.

Marius hat

Yet another rest yarn project. A variation of a Marius hat in white instead of blue. The top is red, since I was running out of both white and blue. But I did finish all the yarn, good job!

Cotton dress

Look such a nice green winter we have this year. We took this pictures outside, just like this. This little dress was made during our Christmas days in the mountain cabin, simple and nice.

Evie Pants

A wool pants for Greta made of Mosaic Moon wool, a bit boyish, but Samuel will be happy to use them in a couple of years too :-) I am happy with the result.

Alize hat

I am knitting some autumn accessories. This is Alize hat, the plan is to make another one for Greta. This one was too big, so it is mine :-) Light blue and purple baby wool is soft and warm.

Wool-silk pants

Samuel got his first knitted pants today- They are very roomy so I hope they will last a while. A wool/silk yarn is very soft and warm :-)

16 gram babyhat

The first thing I knit for Samuel, and it did not take more than a day. The hat is knitted according to this pattern, just with smaller (5 mm) needles, in Brooklyn tweed Shelter yarn that I bought in London in march earlier this year. Isn't my baby sweet?

Another striped sweater

Greta liked the baby sweater I made, and wanted another one for her. This one is for her. Approximately 60 g each color Dale baby wool.

Yet another baby mittens

One evening knitting, I like this pattern so much, so this is my third pair of mittens so far. All are presents. Because these were small enough this time, my baby does not need so small mittens.

15 g Dale garn baby wool from the rests after the Marius sweater for Greta. Who will be the lucky receiver of the mittens this time? :-)

2 years, 2 months and 2 days

More or less. It took me to finishe this project. I don't even remember why I started it, but I wanted to knit a bedspread. What can I tell you, it is boring. But I finish the things I start, so after 2 years of knitting, 2 months of joining and 2 days of weaving ends… tadam!!!!!
The bedspread I'm Rauma Vamsegarm is finished. It weights around 3 kilos, maybe more. 25 squares, 4 colours, 15 mm knitting needles, doubled yarn.

Greta is back from Spain and are posing for the demonstration of her new garments. Here is the polka dot hat.

Polka Dot Hat

Another fast project - a hat for Greta. I even think this time I have the right size. Made with a wonderful Pickles Cashmerino merino/cashmere blend, in colors that Greta will probably love. Looking forward too see her back home soon.

Baby mittens nr.2

I really liked the pattern for this baby mittens. Even though I think I always make them too big, this is my second pair. An owl this time. I used host supersoft yarn, some rests I have after a sweater and the shawls.

Marius, too warm for now

I am preparing for winter in advance again. But you never know, it might be cold in summer too. Luckily, it is big enough to wait for Greta to get bigger before she can wear it. Greta likes it, but she agrees to wait until it fits better. So it will wait.

 Mariusgenser med rundfelling I knitted is a bit different from the original one. Usually it is mainly blue, but I switched blue with white, since Greta wanted it in white. I used Gale garn Baby Ull yarn, because it is very soft. The pattern comes in a pattern magazine, so there are more similar designs available there.

The pattern is for kids all ages, but I made the size 4 years old. I knew beforehand it would be too big for Greta, but considering how slow I am knitting, it is wise to knit always a big size. I used approximately 1.2 of white, 0.7 blue and 0.2 red yarn color. Anyway, whenever Greta is big enough to wear it, I think she will like it! I am satisfied this time!

Owls

Incredible how much I like this pattern. Very fast to knit, I made three - one for me, and two for friends' babies. Horrible pictures, I know ) I will try to take a good picture of my hat, at least. The others are packed in already.
