Marius hat

Yet another rest yarn project. A variation of a Marius hat in white instead of blue. The top is red, since I was running out of both white and blue. But I did finish all the yarn, good job!

Cotton dress

Look such a nice green winter we have this year. We took this pictures outside, just like this. This little dress was made during our Christmas days in the mountain cabin, simple and nice.

I had an old vest

And my old vest was very nice and warm, but I had it for more than ten years. You know the feeling when you like it but don't wear it anymore? And can not donate it, because you really liked it. Then you make something else with it, right? This is what happened to my thick vest, and this is how Greta got a new hat. Wery nice and warm. With a red pompom on top.

Quilted vest

Another piece for Samuel, size approximately 1 year. Made of Ikea fabric. I just found out I don't have much boy-fabric. But this one was fun :-)

Icelandic sweater

This time the sweater is correct size. Yes, don't laugh, it is NOT big for Samuel. It is just made in size 1 year, so Samuel still has 9 months to grow :-) It is supposed to be in four colours, but I had only three. And I had very littly black at the end, so orange it was.

Olivia dress

A simple dress to sew. A it big for now, but that was the point - this is a summer dress. Will be perfect next summer. But it made her day today :-)

Evie Pants

A wool pants for Greta made of Mosaic Moon wool, a bit boyish, but Samuel will be happy to use them in a couple of years too :-) I am happy with the result.

Baby romper for Samuel

The little one is growing fast, already grew out of some of his clothes. Today we made a new romper for him, together, while he snuggled in the wrap. It is a bit big for now, but will be perfect in a couple of weeks, I expect.

Another striped sweater

Greta liked the baby sweater I made, and wanted another one for her. This one is for her. Approximately 60 g each color Dale baby wool.

Blue sky Sunday

Yet another sunny weekend! The day started great with Greta visiting me in the bed and kissing the baby belly. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. Our garden smiles to us with its almost autumn fruit, including this sweet apples.

Later we drove to the town to participate in the triathlon, many kids were there and Greta had fun.

Later we did some grocery shopping and had a playdate with our old neighbours. The girls had fun with play-dough, watermelon, playing ball and soap bubbles.
Even later while Greta were trying all my scrapbooking punchers, I were sewing a princess crown for her (using this tutorial). At first, Greta was disappointed since we did not have pink felt, but she likes the final result and is wearing the crown proudly all the time. I am also content with the result.

The froggy skirt

A new skirt for Greta, sewn this morning. She likes it though refused to take it on for the photoshoot. Of course, having the Tinkerbell dress on, what did I expect? :-)

Striped sweater

Once again I am too bad with sizes. The baby sweater is probably good enough for Greta, I will check this evening. Nøstebarn-sweater in holst supersoft yarn (60 g total).

Polka dot blouse

While Greta is in the kindergarten, I made a blouse for her. She was not in the best mood this morning, so this I hope will make her evening better. Pattern from spring 2008 Ottobre.

The baby whale

It is usually so easy to sew something for Greta, but this time I made somrthing for the baby. Since it is still not known whether it is a boy or a girl, I tried to make it pretty neutral. Isn't it nice?

The flower headband

Greta is a typical girly girl. Besides loving all pink, she also loves everything with flowers on it (and butterflies, too)
I saw this tutorial of a felt headband this morning, and Greta asked me to make one for her. Good I had many felt rests, so this was a lot of fun to make. Hope you like it, too.

Avalon jacket

I had a chance to sew a while this morning, this is how the Avalon jacket was made - from the book "Sewing clothes kids love". The same book with the Manhattan dress. Of course, it was not the right weather to try this on Greta, we are still having a great weather, starts to be too warm, actually. But Greta said she liked it, flowers make anything to be of her taste.

Manhattan dress-2

Just a week of sewing and another Manhattan special occasion dress is finished. Greta had one she wore the last two years, but it became too small now. This time it had to be pink, of course, a bit bigger. Onother difference is the side lacing instead of back. The same pattern, the same book, the same happy girl )
