Scrapbooking Greta's birthday

This evening I needed to get to some relaxing activity, so scrapbooking was perfect. Missed it for some time now. Also looking forward to taking lots of pictures of the baby and scrapbooking them, too!

Long time no scrapbooking

It has been a long time since I did any scrapbooking, so I am catching up today with a newspaper scrap for Greta's 4th birthday. A simple one.

Long timr since last time I did scrapbooking. Today I enjoyed some of my free time to make thil layout about how sweet she still is when she is asleep.

The last day at home

Tomorrow is the kinderdgarten and work. Greta is well aware of that and she says she missed her kindergarten friends, too. Meanwhile, we had a good day at home. I wanted to take her to the horse farm to take a look at some horses, but she wanted to stay at home today. Yes, it was strange that even horses did not convince her. But in the swimming pool today, she was a star! She started wanting to swim all by herself all of a sudden, she jumps like crazy into the water now (before she jumped too, but very carefully, preferrably holding our hands), swam to the border, and was incredibly active (even considering she did not nap today).

Nice to start the day with some astronomy books :-))

And then to watch Moomin together with mommy.

And this was inspired by Kigami. Well, we just needed to do something for St.Valentines Day, even when daddy is away for a trip. We made this paper wreath together and glued it to the door of her room. She loved it.

The sleep book is finisged

Tadam!!!! I finished the sleep book for Greta. Now, she sleeps better anyway, but it will still be fine to work on our bedtime routine, so I help the book will help there. This is how it looks now.

It has been a wjile since I did scrapbooking. Lately I did more knitting, little sewing, lots of shopping, enough cooking, quite a lot playing. So no time for scrapbooking. But today I decided to do a bit. Greta was so tired after the music today, tht she fell asleep in the car. Of course she woke up when I took her out of the car, but still she went to bed pretty early. Santiago works some overtime tonight, which all together gives me time for my hobby. I was looking through some old pictures (last autumn), and was amazed by how much Greta has changed since. She was still a round baby then, but now she is a little lady. But she was also funny then, and I scrapped this picture when she runs happily just outside our house. Hehe. With a finger pointing up for some reason :-)

I continue to make the sleep book for Greta, so today I took a couple of pictures more that are part of the routine: how Greta undresses, how she turns off the light, and how we sleep after Greta hes fallen asleep in her room.

The sleep book

I am making the sleep book for Greta. It is a book where all her bedtime routine is described in pictures, as well as there are pictures of other kids doing the same: bathing, reading bedtime stories, brushing their teeth and so on...
I made just three pages so far, but there are still many steps of the bedtime routine to make...
Greta liked it so far. It is supposed to help her with her bedtime routine and get tuned to sleep.

Greta is learning to use screws together with Santiago. And as a bonus, today we were making a paper house today, and Santiago asked me to draw a couple of cats and things... Instead I used some of my scrapbooking supplies, since I can't draw anyway :-)
