I am enjoying being back home, with my family. Greta grew up so much, she is so kind and funny.

Kindergarten fun!

It is so nice that now we can easily access the pictures thay take in the kindergarten. It is good to see what they really do there :-)

NOTE: I removed the pictures since other kids were there too. :-((

The latest things Greta painted. I quite like the second one. The brown dot down to the left is an owl!

A present from the forest

Yes! I finished yet another orienteering map today. On my way back I even founr a present for Santiago and Greta. Here it is:

Does it happen to you that you walk through the house and try to find something to paint? It started happening to me some time ago... So today I painted an Ikea cork board that I plan to hang in the hobby/office room. Nice color :-)

Stars everywhere

Greta brought this painting from the kindergarten:
 
And I embroider the stars like bare wunderbar showed in her DIY.
 
 
 
I am actually wery proud of the last ones I made, especially when I look at the back side. I think I finally start to understand how cross stitch works and start to like it.
But! What should I do with these stars?

Sanselåven

Today we visited Sanselåven. It is an art exposition about the dreamworld. Many of the paintings are made in perspective, there are lots of small windows to look through, lights that turns and off. It is like a tiny town that has its own day and night, its rains and storms and lightnings. Several small rooms with strange dream-like architecture. All touchable and enjoyable :-)

A little funny project

We have a chair from Ikea that Greta uses now to climb on our bed (because now we have the double matress, it is too high). It was already painted in red when we got it, but now we decided to make it look more interesting. So we took all different colors we had.. Of course, Greta could not stand just looking how I was painting it, and had to help. So I let her paint the first step, and I took the top of the chair. Do you like it? :-)
 
 
It is drying now. But maybe I should try to make the step look better somehow after what Greta did to it :-)

Sunny Saturday

and also very relaxed. First, we found another orienteering checkpoint in the forest, a difficult one today. Then we were watching Wimbledon all day long today! I am happy about it. Anf to finish the day, Santiago was painting a little wooden cloet for Greta, and Greta was paintin even smaller wooden "treasure" chest.


And havng fun in the dolls stroller

Our cat just loves all the boxes (I bet all the cats do), and Greta loves to make fun of her.

One important thing: now we should be very careful. Greta learned to open the door (and I guess she just became taller)! And she went to the street all by herself . I am surprised and scared.

And for dessert: homemade forest fruit creamy icecream. Yumy!
