Buy a pair of pants - plant a flower

Some time ago I bought a couple of wool pants for Samuel, and just today read the label. Turns our you can plant it and get a wildflower out of it. Well, we will see. :-)

Surprise from the garden

I walked through the garden today and found a nice surprise. The flowers I planted in the middle of the summer (yes, I know I was supposed to plant them in spring) and that were not going to bling any flowers this year, suddenly were waiting for me there. Beautiful. Thanks to these flowers, I am able to play with my new camera lens :-)

Evening

Nice to be at home in the evening and sit on the sofa and contemplate a clean living room and the flowers I got yesterday from my friends from Moscow.

I take a break from the abalone vest and knit some squares for Nepal kids.

26 now. Guees just by looking at this pictures what I have got from my dear husband. A hint: the pictures are taken at home without flash. I guess this was not very complicated, right?

1.september

Today is the first day of autumn, even though some trees are becoming yellow and red duning the last week already. 6 degrees in the morning, and 25 in the evening. Unedpected showers almost everyday out of the clear sky. Greta got a rose from a political party, and that reminds me that I have to sit and read all those political brochures, because for the forst time in my life I am going to elections. Yes, don´t be surprised :-)

September = skirtember. I found this group on Facebook, and during the month of September I am going to wear mostly skirts and dresses. But since it is cold in the morning, I bought today a mountain of tights to complete the mission.

A present from the forest

Yes! I finished yet another orienteering map today. On my way back I even founr a present for Santiago and Greta. Here it is:

Does it happen to you that you walk through the house and try to find something to paint? It started happening to me some time ago... So today I painted an Ikea cork board that I plan to hang in the hobby/office room. Nice color :-)

My daughter is just like me

She loves all the berries, and today she showed me that she loves redcurrant too. This one is from our garden, it is already quite red, but we did not pick all, to let the rest of the berries get even more red. After finishing the first portion, she said: "Mama, more tomatoes!" :-)

And this is the flower Greta brought from the forest yesterday, for me. She brought it home and asked daddy if they had o put it in water or in milk :-))))

Quiet...

It seems to be a quiet evening today.

Greta finally went to sleep a bit earlier today, and we are watching a nice movie "Time traveller's wife". Also we are making shopping plans for the weekend, including Ikea and some painting shops. Also, it turns out that our friend can not go to States, so we will not have an iPad soon. So I have to start thinking about an aniversary present.

And it rains again...
