The flower blanket

Tonight a finished another project - the crocheted blanket. I guess I could have continued working on it a bit longer, but crocheting just makes me impatient, as the opposite to knitting. Greta loves it, anyway :)
I should definitely take better pictures...

Our monday was boring outside (because it rained), but fun inside (because we played games, danced, sang, crochet! and baked).

25. something I made

 

My first doily

I am learning to crochet. This is my first doily (here is the description, the small one) I finished five minutes ago. Does somebody know what I am supposed to do with it now? Wash? Treat somehow?

Bicycle seat cover

You know, I am not good at all at crocheting. I only made some flowers, a couple of wristwarmers I don´t like and now this. This seat cover turned out too big for my bicycle, but looks way better on Greta´s one. How typical of me, to make something out of season. A bicycle seat cover right before snow comes, The hammock in the middle of september, a warm winter sweater or pants in summer..... :-))

A big flower on the little head

Greta liked those crocheted flowers I made some time ago, so today I made her a hair pin with one of those. Pretty!

The weekend

This weekend was again fuul of interesting things. We had a visit of our Polish and Spanish friends, we enjoyed our raspberry from the garden, Greta loved having all the attention for her during the whole evening.
I am also making a book for Greta that will be called "My sleep book". It will have pictures of Greta and other kids doing the pre-bed routine and then going to sleep. It is supposed to help her to go to bed easily. So I am taking pictures of her bathing, going to the potty, putting on the pajamas, and sleeping. I also need to take pictures of her brushing her teeth, of us reading bedtime stories an so on. Sounds like a good idea, I think.

I also made this crochet felted seat cover, just in one evening. Finally, I am learning to crochet, and it is not so difficult as it looked before, anymore.

Also, we sold our car! So next week we are buying the Grand Scenic! Hurray!

Stars everywhere

Greta brought this painting from the kindergarten:
 
And I embroider the stars like bare wunderbar showed in her DIY.
 
 
 
I am actually wery proud of the last ones I made, especially when I look at the back side. I think I finally start to understand how cross stitch works and start to like it.
But! What should I do with these stars?

When I learn to crochet a little bit better

I will make this hen. It does not matter that the easter will be long gone, but it is so funny!

More flowers

Today was a day when I made lots of crochet flowers. Now I am much faster :-)

Peter pan and my first crochet

Greta has been to her first theater musical today. And it went much better than I expected. It was a bit long, 3 hours all together, but she liked it! And I did, too!
Here Greta reads books with daddy, they look like such a good friends!

I made my first crochet thing. Took me a while to understand the principles of crocheting, but this looks good for the first time!
