A simple dress to sew. A it big for now, but that was the point - this is a summer dress. Will be perfect next summer. But it made her day today :-)

Evie Pants

A wool pants for Greta made of Mosaic Moon wool, a bit boyish, but Samuel will be happy to use them in a couple of years too :-) I am happy with the result.

Alize hat

I am knitting some autumn accessories. This is Alize hat, the plan is to make another one for Greta. This one was too big, so it is mine :-) Light blue and purple baby wool is soft and warm.

Striped sweater

Once again I am too bad with sizes. The baby sweater is probably good enough for Greta, I will check this evening. Nøstebarn-sweater in holst supersoft yarn (60 g total).

Peggle people

The other day I found a wonderful site, I felt I would love to make all of the things from there. But then I postponed and postponed, until I got time this week. I made the peggle people and the cardboard animals and vehicles. Greta is coming back home tomorrow, I bet she will like it. The peggle people will also be happy living in a dollhouse Santiago made for her.

I think it is pretty clear I miss her. Every evening I make something for her. I sew, knit, make wooden toys, bought some books. I am excited to see her back home tomorrow.

Greta and Santiago went to Spain today, I am already missing them. Meanwhile, to make the time pass faster, I made a sunhat for Greta. A baloon is posing patiently for the pictures.

Geranium dress pattern

A very beautiful dress to sew, though I made the top option since I did not have enough fabric. Greta tried it on, but refused to pose for the camera. Good we have the whole summer in front of us so we can take many pictures in summer tops.

The flower blanket

Tonight a finished another project - the crocheted blanket. I guess I could have continued working on it a bit longer, but crocheting just makes me impatient, as the opposite to knitting. Greta loves it, anyway :)
I should definitely take better pictures...

Gaenor

Yes, yes! I finished yet another shawl. This one is called Gaenor and was much simplier to make (but bigger) than the Lazy Katy. Love it!

The sourpatch

The fastest project ever: the sourpatch.
Knitted in Dale Falk! But... the smallest size knitted will still have to wait a couple of years. I don't know why all the things I knit or sew end up too big :-(

Yay! Another present for Greta

You know, I could not give her a naked doll. So here is a dress for Milton. Looking forward for Thursday! Can´t wait to see how she likes it.

Eggs are painted! Greta brought her cress form the kindergarten! Easter has come!

A salad full of colours

I never imagined one could combine so many colours (and tastes) in one salad. Theck out this salad, give it a try, and you will not regret!
Now, I made so much that I will be eating it for 2 days more now. Looking forward for tomorrow just to eat it again.

Berry day

Today I ate a lot of berries. Just felt an urge to eat it all. First, the redcurrant. See how good it looks.

And even better with a bit of raw cacao nibs and agave nectar. Yummy!

Then, I could not resist these strawberries. Of course, they are not so good as the authentic norwegian strawberries, but still.

Sprinkle with raw cacao nibs and cream!

This summer we will pick all the possible fruits that Norway offers to us. I am really looking forward!

I finally finished the abalone for me. With this great Madeline Tosh yarn. Not I washed it and I hope the stitches will look nicer after it is dry. Looking forward to wear it.

Kindergarten arts

Yesterday we bought this piece of art Greta made n the kindergarten. It is painting on silk. The money they got for it is for the poor children in other countries.
