Lofoten and Vesterålen

We just came back home from a trip to the Northern Norway. We drove by car to Bodø, took a ferry to Lofoten, drove Lofoten north, then Vesterålen, and drove back the beautiful coastal road, that took way too much time. We opened our door home this morning at 4am, after driving the whole day. A few pictures, so you can make the idea of how wonderful Norway is :-)

Bathing near the Polar circle.

I can not imagine having a better weather. Just a few short rains, otherwise incredible sunshine.

Greta crossing the polar circle :-)

A traditional bakery in Å in Lofoten

Visiting fishery museums.

Just incredible wonderful sand!

180 degrees panorama if the best beach in the whole world (not only my words), Haukland

Just a happy child

Vesterålen. We lived in a tiny village called Nyksund, and I hope we go back there somrtime ago in the future. This was a short walk to a nice beach in the north og Langøya.

The nature and the animals are fantastic. Just look at this tiny baby-bird here.

Me!

In Vesterålen we also visited the museum of Hurtigruten.

This is the happy child during the long journey.

There will be more pictures! This is just a little bit.
